Three PS+ offers to satisfy gamers
Whether you own a PS4 or a PS5, you have access to the PlayStation Plus service. It bundles three subscription offers for use on Sony consoles, as well as PC. These packages thus combine the old PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now services, and the advantages offered are numerous: online games, catalog of recent or older games, cloud service, exclusive discounts, etc.
Of the three, the Essential is the most affordable. It gives the possibility to download two to four games for free each month, some of which are exclusive to the PS5. You will be able to get discounts on games or DLC in the PS Store, store your saves in the cloud (with 100 GB of space), enjoy access to online gaming to play in co-op or multiplayer with your friends or other players around the world, and even benefit from shared play with certain titles, which will allow you to play with your friends remotely in the same game, without them needing to own the game to play it with you.
The second subscription is named Extra, this one takes up the Essential offer, with some additional features: 400 additional PS4 and PS5 games, from the PlayStation Studios catalog, but also from third-party publishers, can be downloaded. A Ubisoft+ Classics catalog is also available. The latest, the Premium, has the benefits of the previous two subscriptions, with an additional 340 titles, including PS3 games, PlayStation classics and even PSP, which can be streamed in the cloud. You’ll also have access to limited-time trials on select new titles.
