We have been testing the PaMu Z1 Pro headphones from the Chinese company Padmate for about 3 weeks and today we are ready to talk to you about them, bringing you our positive and negative considerations on the matter.
Let’s start immediately by presenting what the product is and how it presents itself. Inside the very aesthetically pleasing box we find:
- Pamu Z1 Pro earphones
- Charging case
- Carrying bag
- USB-C cable
- 5 pairs of ear tips
Before opening the headphones for use, we recommend immediately downloading the PaMu application on your phone (Android, iOS). This will in fact allow you to set up your headphones.
Once opened, the headphones are ready for use (if charged), what you need is to connect them via Bluetooth to your smartphone. Once connected, via the PaMu application you can set all the various settings as you prefer.
You therefore have the possibility to manage the activation or otherwise of the noise canceling as well as the firmware update, the customization of key functions such as double click and long press of the two headphones as well as seeing the battery of the two headphones.
Ergonomically the headphones are well made. Once worn, they remain secure in the ear even during medium intensity physical activities. The audio quality is excellent. The bass is well balanced and the treble is not too strong. The audio is slightly flat but overall certainly among the best earphones I have tried in terms of volume and listening quality. During the call, the speaker’s voice can be heard very well while the microphones work well, except in situations with slightly accentuated wind where the hiss is very annoying for our interlocutor.
Qualitatively the earphones are entirely made of plastic, in our case in green colour. However, the plastic feels premium in use and gives a feeling of solidity.
- Convenience in use
- Battery allows you to use them for approximately 6 hours non-stop
- Sound quality
- I had the trouble of removing the earphones from the charging box
- Application still a little cumbersome and sparse
