Emporia has launched its new smartphones E6, opening a new chapter in the field of devices dedicated to seniors. In this regard, in fact, Mauro InvernizziCEO of Emporia Telecom Italia, stated: “With the emporia E6 we are targeting self-confident people between the ages of 45 and 65, the so-called Superagers, who appreciate a high-end product that is easy to use, offers safety and meets all the standards that are today requested from a smartphone”.
The device includes 5G technology, discrete cameras, NFC, fingerprint sensor, voice input. The Emporia E6, by the way, is a product created in collaboration with older users. In fact, they were organized workshops in countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy or France, where participants defined their demands and wishes for the smartphone of the future. On the software side, the smartphone is easy to use thanks to the patented Emporia interface and technical support for those with hearing problems.
Furthermore, there is the function linked to the emergency call: in case of need, users will be able to call for help quickly and easily by pressing the button on the back of the smartphone. Finally, the device guarantees the possibility of switch from the familiar Android mode to the simple Emporia user interface. If, for example, relatives or specialists help set up the smartphone and prefer to do it with the familiar Android interface, they can do so and then switch to the emporia interface. The Emporia E6 will be available in stores and onemporia e-commerce starting from the end of September at the recommended retail price of 399.99 euros.
