Talking about the CORSAIR K70 CORE is, without a doubt, referring to one of the most prestigious families of high-end keyboards on the market and, therefore, its growth is always good news for users interested in it, since it expands the available options and, therefore, the possibility of finding one that better suits our tastes and needs than the rest. . Something that, added to the renewal of the models, means that we can always find a specific one that fits what we want like a glove.

More specifically, we now focus on the CORSAIR K70 CORE, a very recent model, which we evaluated a few weeks ago and which, as you can check in said analysis, was worthy of a high distinctionwhich makes it one of the most recommended keyboards available on the market today, thanks to a sober and attractive design, performance on par with the K70 family and a more than remarkable quality/price ratio.

As you may have already guessed from its name, This CORSAIR K70 CORE SE is a special edition of the one we tested in October and, therefore, coincides in many points with it. However, there are a couple of aspects related to its design that differentiate it from the original K70 CORE, and that can therefore make a difference in making it more attractive to some users, as, I admit, is my specific case.

The first difference is obvious, of course, and that is that the black color of the K70 CORE is replaced in this K70 CORE SE by a design that combines white, various shades of gray and also highlights two yellow keys. Aesthetically, because of this change, it may fit better in multiple environments where the black design may be somewhat out of place. In addition, and as you can also see in the image, it includes a gray wrist rest, matching its gray keys. For color tastes, of course, but as I said before, aesthetically it seems like a great success.

Another important aspect of this CORSAIR K70 CORE SE is found in its manufacturing process, and that is that Keyboard bottom case is made from 85% post-consumer recycled materials, making it the greenest gaming keyboard on the market. Furthermore, the manufacturer focuses on the fact that the materials used in its production guarantee that it will be a very long-lasting keyboard, and we already know that being able to extend the life of the products reduces the amount of waste and, in addition, reduces the rate of production and, therefore, the consumption of resources.

In addition, and hand in hand with this K70 CORE SE, CORSAIR has also announced several sets of keycaps made of dye-sublimated PBTwith exclusive designs, called White Cherry Blossom, Steel Azure and Steel Crimson, which can be purchased exclusively on the manufacturer’s website along with the keyboard, and also a MM350 PRO Extended XL mouse pad of 930 mm x 400 mm specially designed with Spill-proof, stain-resistant microfabric.
