In the finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, Sauron kills Celebrimbor. Then a few tears roll down his cheeks. Why?

A strange occurrence in the season finale second “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” season is that Sauron cries after killing Celebrimbor. He could be doing this out of anger that Celebrimbor’s last words, prophesying his downfallto make him angry.
But also the fact that Celebrimbor him as a mere shadow of his master Morgoth referred to, could irritate him. As an aspiring villain who wants to follow in his master’s footsteps, you obviously don’t want to hear something like that.
In addition, however, Sauron also has “great appreciation” for the blacksmith, just like us Sauron actors Charlie Vickers in an exclusive interview has betrayed.
Sauron has sincere admiration for Celebrimbor
Even though Sauron represents evil in this story, I don’t think it’s productive to approach the role that way. Celebrimbor is a master of his craft and Sauron’s mentor was Aule – this one Valathis God! – and he was also a blacksmith.

“He is the greatest artist of his time and I think Sauron has great admiration for him, which is why he asks him to forge the rings with him,” Vickers concludes his statement. This suggests that Sauron may actually be regretting the loss of the blacksmith.
Sauron’s tears are most likely meant for Celebrimbor’s death and the loss of one of the greatest artists of his time!
The eighth episode marks the second season of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” has come to an end. So far it is not clear whether “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Season 3 will come. The consequences are already being worked on, but there is no official statement from Amazon yet.
