Android: Get to the search field faster

I recently got a clue online seenwhich I already knew personally, but which is not yet immortalized here in the blog. Basically, the idea was that you could get to the Play Store search field more quickly if you double-tapped the magnifying glass symbol (for searching). Normally, most users click on the search once and then click again in the search field at the top. The double tap will then take you directly to the search input. And not just in the Google Play Store, but everywhere where developers have integrated this function – in Threads, Google Photos, Spotify and X, for example. You’ll have to dig through your apps to find out.
