VAIO Corporationannounced that it has started handling models compatible with the Intel vPro platform in its 13.3-inch mobile notebook “VAIO Pro PG,” which is being developed for corporate customers.
The VAIO Pro PG is a mobile notebook with a 13.3-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:10, and is positioned as a business model of the consumer VAIO S13.
VAIO Pro PG uses a vertical screen of 1,920 x 1,200 dots, which is wider than the typical Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 dots). It is lightweight at approximately 1.072 kg, and the LTE compatible model supports dual SIM (eSIM and physical SIM).
The Intel vPro platform compliant model introduced this time meets the requirements for “Secured-core PC” proposed by Microsoft. This will prevent unauthorized external access to the BIOS, firmware, etc. and tampering with information by malicious code through hardware, BIOS, firmware, and OS settings.
