As you probably already know, there are several ways to get to this menu, such as pressing a certain key when the computer starts loading. The objective is to enter the BIOS, define that the boot mode is from USB and so that the computer, the next time you restart, starts Google OS Flex settings. At this point you will have the opportunity to directly install the operating system or run it from the USB memory. The latter is recommended if you are not sure about the change and want to try it first. This will save you effort in case you don’t like it and want to return to Windows.

Recently, the compatibility range was even higher, but Google updated the requirements for Chrome OS Flex to make it a little more demanding. That said, take note that you will need 4 GB RAM, 16 GB free disk storage, and a processor that should be AMD or Intel x86 64-bit. You won’t have problems with those equipment that is more than 10 years old and even those from 2010 are compatible with the operating system in an adequate way. Previously you could use computers from 2007, but as we indicated, Google has expanded the requirements slightly and perhaps with such old equipment you will notice performance problems.
