Stick vacuum cleaners on sale for French Days
1. The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute at €699 instead of €799 at Boulanger
An essential brand in the vacuum cleaner department, Dyson has already proven itself. Its latest model, the V15 Detect Absolute, costs €799 on the brand’s official website. During the French Days, Boulanger applies a reduction of around a hundred euros bringing it to €699.
The V15 Detect Absolute is no exception to the rule and offers a pleasant and fluid user experience worthy of the brand. The suction quality is there and the Hepa filter present captures the finest particles and keeps allergens and volatile compounds trapped. With its 3.1 kilos, it is not the lightest, but it makes up for it with its motorized brush equipped with LED lighting allowing you to see dust invisible to the naked eye. Far from being essential, this technology allows for emphasis in places that require it. The numerous spiral cyclones provide powerful suction on tiles, parquet floors, rugs and carpets. The 0.8 L tank drains easily and the battery gives you one hour of autonomy.
Of course, the price can scare you away, but Dyson remains a safe bet. Its brush effectively catches dust, animal hair and hair without them getting tangled.
2. The Proscenic P12 at €145 instead of €190
This is the model that we recommend for the most restricted budgets. Usually sold for around €200, it is currently available at €145 at Darty. This is the time to enjoy
The Proscenic brand has attracted many households with more than affordable products that hold up. Don’t expect as smooth an experience as with a more premium model either. However, it defends itself very well with a very present suction quality thanks to its power of 33 kPa. The model could perhaps have done without the green light which looks more gadgety on a model in this price range. A screen indicates the quantity of particles sucked up. Equipped with a Hepa filter, it effectively traps dust and allergens. Its dust container can hold up to 1.2 L. The brush prevents hair from tangling and is quite effective on animal hair. Like more high-end models, the battery life is one hour and its weight does not exceed 3 kilos. However, it is a little noisier.
Apart from its green light not as effective as on more expensive models, the Proscenic fulfills its vacuum cleaner function perfectly. It perfectly combines performance and affordable price. At this price, no reason to hesitate.
3. The Samsung Jet 75 at €379
And yes, Samsung doesn’t just produce TVs and smartphones. The Korean giant is attacking the stick vacuum cleaner market and its Jet 75 model stands out above all on sale at Boulanger at €379 instead of €579.
Samsung demonstrates its skills with this vacuum cleaner. With its suction power of 250 Watt Air and its multi-cyclonic technology, the result on floors and fine carpets is impeccable, even at low power. So much the better, because if the autonomy at low speed is one hour, it is only 6 minutes at maximum speed. Its weight does not exceed 3 kilos which makes it quite easy to handle, especially since the suction head is very flexible and follows the movements of the vacuum cleaner well in corners. Its dust bin has an average volume of 0.8 L, only its system for removing and replacing it deserves to be reviewed.
At full price, we don’t recommend it. On sale, it becomes very interesting and represents a great alternative to Dyson with a more affordable price.
Robot vacuum cleaners on sale for French Days
1. Roomba i5 at €279 instead of €449
On the iRobot website, the Roomba i5 is listed at €449. With almost 40% off, the online store Conforama offers it at only €279. A great opportunity to get started in connected housekeeping and find out a little about what a robot vacuum cleaner is worth.
A robot vacuum cleaner is expensive and it is better to spend less on an older model than on a brand unknown to the battalion. iRobot is one of the market leaders and its machines are high quality enough for a pleasant experience. Far from being the most recent, the Roomba i5 offers a more than satisfactory result, provided that it does not require the performance of a sled vacuum cleaner, especially if you have animals. Designed as a daily household aid, it ensures methodical vacuuming of your interior. The accompanying application allows you to schedule your cleaning sessions and control your vacuum cleaner by voice.
Despite the lack of a laser rangefinder and somewhat crude mapping, the Roomba i5 at this price is an excellent choice if this is your first robot vacuum model or your budget is rather tight.
2. The Dreame L10 S Pro for less than €400
It is one of our favorites in the best value for money category and usually, it is sold for €450. During the French Days, Boulanger displays it at €399. A reduction of €50 always welcome on a model that is already worth it, even without a reduction.
Users are fully satisfied with it and for good reason! Its LIDAR performs a realistic mapping of your interior and allows the vacuum cleaner to find its way and avoid obstacles and does not get stuck facing a chair leg or in the darkness under a piece of furniture. Be careful, however, not to leave too small objects or cables lying around that will go unnoticed. Using the app, you can determine which places you want it to avoid and schedule vacuuming times while you’re away. It effectively vacuums and washes floors of all types, but will perform less well with old stains. The 190 mL water tank is enough for an interior of 40 m2, but will not cope with larger areas.
A brand that is still discreet in France and would benefit from being better known. The L10 S Pro is a great connected household companion. For more peace of mind, and you save emptying the dust collector and washing the cloths, you can opt for the version equipped with an emptying station, much more expensive and not discounted for the French Days.
3. The Roborock S8 at €529 on Rakuten
Usually found around €600, the Rakuten site offers the iconic Roborock S8 for €529. Far from the -50% displayed on other references, a discount of €70 on such a high-quality product is always worth taking.
A solid reference in the catalog of robot vacuum cleaners, the Roborock S8 will not disappoint you. The two rubber rollers of the brush trap hair and animal hair without risks for the mechanism and maintenance is easy. With 6,000 Pa of power, it is one of the most powerful robot vacuum cleaners on the market. Roborock incorporates a sonic vibration system that begins to make washing floors interesting and more efficient. Another nice detail, the robot lifts the mop when it passes over the carpets. It has 3 hours of battery life. The capacity of its dust collector and water tank is quite generous and allows cleaning of large surfaces. Its LIDAR does a remarkable job and the application leaves a range of possibilities in household settings such as intensive passage in a particular room. Despite ever more sophisticated circumvention systems, it is advisable not to leave your laces or small elements lying in your path.
A true benchmark in the robot vacuum cleaner department, the Roborock S8 fulfills all its promises at a slightly more affordable price during the French Days.
