There are just over 48 hours left until Apple’s ‘Wonderlust’ event start. We have a pretty good idea of what is going to be presented and of what is not going to show upso after that event we expect a reorganization of the “rumoresphere” towards the events that we will see later.
However, it looks like we won’t be seeing a new Apple event as soon as we wanted. Mark Gurman, in his last-minute leaks prior to the keynote on Tuesday, bet on an October without an event. Now, that doesn’t mean that we won’t see new things.
There is room for iPads, but not much else
Gurman commented on this in the most recent episode of the MacRumors podcast: he doesn’t think we’ll have a proper Apple event in October or November, but he does think we’ll see new product launches in the form of an online press release with all the details included in it.
What news could that be? Well, according to the source we would talk about a new iPad Air whose development would already be very advanced. There is even talk of the possibility of more new features in the range, although the new iPad Pro They would be reserved for the beginning of next year.
You don’t have to look back to remember something like this: MacBook Pro with M2 Pro chips and M2 Max were presented with a simple press release in mid-January. Exactly the same thing can happen again and, as Gurman says, without enough news “like taking the press to Cupertino to watch a video”. We will solve the mystery in a few weeks, after all the whirlwind of news and surprises that the keynote on Tuesday.
Remember: at Applesfera we will fly to Cupertino to be able to offer you all the news and a first contact with the iPhone 15 promptly. We will offer you more details of the coverage very soon. Next week is going to be very entertaining!
