MacBook, iPhone SE, iPad mini, iMac… Apple’s next few months should be busy

Apple reportedly plans to release products at the end of October, but also at the beginning of 2025.

After presenting with great fanfare the iPhone 16 And 16 Pro At the beginning of September, Apple would have planned some more interesting announcements for the coming months. The well informed Bloomberg takes stock and predicts announcements in October, followed by other debuts in 2025. We take stock.

Announcements end of October 2024

First at the end of October, Apple could refresh many PCs running macOS, but also offer its famous new version of the iPad mini mentioned by rumors for months.

Entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip (codenamed J604).
High-end 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip (J614 and J616).
Mac mini with a new design and M4 and M4 Pro (J773) chips.
Renewed iMac with an M4 (J623) chip.
New version of the iPad mini (J410).

A launch which could coincide with the deployment of iOS 18.1 which could take place on October 28, still according to Bloomberg. As a reminder, the first features of Apple Intelligence integrated into iOS would accompany this version, but only in English. MacOS Sequoia 15.1 should also benefit from Apple Intelligence from this date, and therefore future Macs could indeed be launched with the famous AI functions.

However, some more advanced features will have to wait for iOS 18.2, such as the integration of ChatGPT or even Genmoji, which allows you to create your own emoji using a simple prompt.

Early 2025

That should be all for 2024. Apple would then have planned a new launch at the beginning of 2025, this time much less focused on a particular universe since we would have the PC, the smartphone, the tablet, but also the Apple’s new Bluetooth tracker.

The iPhone SE and the new AirTag would represent interesting refreshments since both products are a few years old. AirTags date back to 2021 while the latest iPhone SE, with its dated design based on TouchID was released in 2022.
