OnePlus has already launched some TWS headphones. Personally, I really liked the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 agreed. With the OnePlus Buds 3 – without the Pro addition – a new model from OnePlus is expected to be released. It is believed that this will be presented together with a OnePlus 12 in early 2024. OnePlus is no longer represented on the local market with tablets and smartphones since the patent dispute with Nokia. I’m curious to see whether the earphones will be brought to Germany.
Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) has already unearthed the first render images of the wireless earphones. Visually very similar, but with a metallic finish for the earplugs, which was previously only available for the stem. There are also some technical details about the headphones. They should weigh just under 4.77 grams.
A cooperation with Dynaudio is also noted on the case. A 10.4 mm woofer and 6 mm tweeter should be used. Active noise cancellation is included and is supposed to attenuate up to 48 dB.
The connection to the smartphone should be via Bluetooth 5.3, while Google Fast Pair and dual connection are supported. The 58 mAh battery in each earbud is said to last up to 9 hours, while the 520 mAh charging case should provide a total listening time of 6 hours. Five hours of listening pleasure can be recharged within 10 minutes.
Further information? The current rumor mill speculates about an IP55 certification for the buds or an IPX4 certification for the charging case. Facts will be available in January 2024, when the OnePlus 12 will be presented for India and the global market.
