In fact, in the last few hours OnePlus has announced the first beta of Android 14 For OnePlus 11. Let’s start by saying that it is the Open Beta program, with software builds that may include bugs but are generally compatible with everyday use. Let’s see what they are new features introduced with OxygenOS 14:
- Improved permission management for photos and videos for more secure access by apps.
- Improved system stability, app launch speed and animation fluidity.
- The Aquamorphic design has been updated, which would be the equivalent of the Material You on OnePlus.
- New Aquamorphic themed ringtones and renewed system notification sounds.

In short, it does not seem a changelog especially long.
It may be that OnePlus intends to introduce the software innovations in a manner gradual in its OxygenOS 14, and then tested them sequentially with the various betas.
