Since 2014, the TV show “The Lions’ Den” has been giving young entrepreneurs the chance to present their business ideas and products. The aim is to convince a jury of experienced investors and get them to invest in the respective start-ups.
Over the past ten years, numerous inventors and founders have managed to close good deals. In some cases they led to great success. Reusable deodorant sticks, snorkel masks with CO2 filters or meals from a bottle: the spectrum of ideas is large.

10th place: Koawach
Caffeine cocoa comes in tenth place in the ranking of the most successful products from “The Lion’s Den”. Koawach. The Fairtrade drinking chocolate contains guarana and is considered a coffee alternative with an energy drink effect. The Berlin entrepreneurs Heiko Butz and Daniel Duarte were able to convince Jochen Schweizer with their idea in 2015. Due to the constantly increasing demand, the founders have sold more than 33 million products in the last nine years. To date, they have achieved a total turnover of over 43 million euros.
