Windows 11 is moving more towards AI

Microsoft is working on its Copilot AI and, for the first time, is placing significant emphasis on how the system “feels” and not just on what it can do. What Microsoft is initially announcing is a voice assistant as an AI companion. This should make natural conversations possible and answers should be easier to understand and come quicker than before. Specifically, the Redmond software manufacturer announces the following features for the Copilot AI. Copilot Voice refers to the voice interface just explained. Copilot Daily delivers an AI-generated summary of everything that’s relevant, like a summary of the news and weather. Later, memories will also become part of the daily. Copilot Discover is a kind of assistant in dealing with Co-pilot. The function offers both a practical guide to the features and suggestions for easy conversation starters.

Two additional functions will initially only be tested experimentally – Copilot Vision and Think Deeper. Copilot Vision requires full rights to be useful. It is a feature that can read the entire screen content and then talk to you about it. Microsoft suggests using AI as a setup assistant for a new apartment. With Think Deeper, the AI ​​should be able to solve more complex problems because it should think more intensively. According to Microsoft, Think Deeper takes more time before responding, “so Copilot can provide detailed, step-by-step answers to challenging questions.”

Starting from October 1st, a lot not here

From October 1, 24, Copilot will have updated apps for iOS and Android, the Copilot web experience at copilot.microsoft.com and the Copilot Windows app. The introduction of Copilot into the messaging app Whatsapp has also been announced.

However, all advanced functions will not be available with us. Copilot Voice initially only works in English. Copilot Daily will initially launch in the United States and the United Kingdom starting October 10th. Copilot Vision will be available in the Labs to a limited number of Copilot Pro subscribers in the future. And Think Deeper will be tested with a limited number of Copilot Pro users in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States starting October 1st.
