Warner Bros. Entertainment had in the summer the first chapter of the animated two-parter Watchmen, which is based on the graphic novel of the same name. The second part will follow in November, for which the official trailer is now available.
If you don’t know Watchmen, the story takes place in a world where superheroes exist but have been banned because of their questionable actions. When the former superhero The Comedian is murdered by an unknown person, Rorschach, who is still operating in secret, investigates – and uncovers a huge conspiracy that could trigger a global nuclear war and thus the extinction of humanity.
In the USA, Watchmen Chapter 2 will initially be released online as a digital version on November 26, 2024. A Blu-Ray with the film will also follow on December 3rd. Unfortunately, there is no date for Germany yet, and the first chapter has not yet been published in this country.
